Sumps
Moosetrap Inlet Sump:
Located 11 m above lip of the 27 m Moosetrap third pitch, at the end of 8 m body sized tube, sump 1 is approx 10 m long, this was siphoned and dug open to 4 m of small passage to a squalid duck to a small chamber. A triangular passage to the Young Pretenders Pitch up, a 5.5 fixed rope. About 35 m of passage through a couple of small chambers to Sump 2 which is very narrow and mud filled.
THESE SUMPS CAN NOT BE DIVED DUE TO THE RESTRICTED NATURE OF THE PASSAGES.
